Options in Informit are set at three levels—System default, Organisation and User.
- System defaults are preset for all Informit options. Preset options are deemed those suitable for most organisations. System default options can be changed at the administrator level.
- Organisation preferences can be set by your organisation’s nominated administrator to suit local needs.
- User preferences can be changed during an Informit session, usually by selecting from a dropdown menu. User options revert to the organisation default when the user logs out.
