The Rural Extension and Innovation Systems Journal is published in printed and electronic forms by the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN). Its purpose is to support innovation and practice change in primary industries and natural resource management by publishing high-quality articles on extension theory and practice relevant to Australia, New Zealand and the broader Australasia-Pacific Region. It focuses on extension aspects of agribusiness systems and natural resource systems.
The journal was previously known as the Extension Farming Systems Journal. It is published annually.
