Journal of Law, Information and Science

Originally published in 1981 under the title "Journal of Law and Information Science", the Journal of Law, Information and Science was one of the first journals to provide a forum for the consideration of problems generated in the legal sphere by computers and information systems. In 2005 the title of the Journal was modified to its current form to reflect the maturity of information technology and its increasing integration into and overlap with the sciences. The expanded remit also reflected the originating founder's intent that the journal be dedicated to the discussion of legal issues relating to emerging science and technology (as Information Science once was).
