Family Matters

Published by the Australian Institute of Family Studies three times a year, Family Matters is a lively and informative journal for students, family service providers, policy makers, and anyone interested in families. Readers will find the latest Australian and international research on family trends, family breakdown, what makes for strong and enduring marriages, child development, economic and social policy, and a range of other family-related issues.

Readers will get all the latest findings from the Institute's studies including the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children, the Australian Temperament Project, the Child Care in a Cultural Context Study, the Family Social Capital and Citizenship Study, and the Families and Work Decisions Study. Findings from the Institute's ongoing research into divorce, family formation and breakdown, and marriage and relationship education, will continue to be published.
