Copyright: A User's Guide, Second Edition addresses all copyright forms including print, audio and visual arts, as well as online usage. It describes the provisions in the Copyright Act for dealing with copyright works and the licences available from the various collecting societies that monitor usage of works in educational institutions (e.g. CAL, VISCOPY).
This edition takes into account the amendments made to the Copyright Act to deal with increasing use of the Internet as a source of content as well as a delivery mechanism.
In the second edition of his copyright guide for educational institutions, Gerdsen catches up on recent Copyright Act changes on internet content and delivery. It covers print and photocopying, music and performance, emails and morals, record keeping everything that occurs daily in universities, TAFEs and schools.
