Cool Calm Kids aims to help young children explore better ways to handle conflict and bossy classmates. It follows on from the authors' successful book Bullying: A Whole School Approach and provides guidance, resources and activities for teachers and parents.
The book helps children from Prep to Year 2 explore better ways to deal with conflict and bossy behaviour in a fun and energetic environment through role-play and participation. It helps to develop social skills, body awareness and appropriate language early in a child's life. Students will discover a common language by which they can deal with friendship issues and learn a range of non-violent strategies to deal with peer pressure that are aligned with the ethos of the school.
