Journal of the Australasian Institute for Maritime Archaeology
The Australian Institute of Maritime Archaeology Bulletin is one of only three journal publications in the world dedicated to maritime archaeology and the only one that focuses on Australasia and the surrounding regions. It has been successfully published for the last 30 years and contains a wealth of information from when maritime archaeology first started in Australia.
Topics cover the international scene as well as a myriad of Australasian projects including shipbuilding, coastal archaeology, maritime cultural landscapes, flying boat wrecks, underwater and coastal survey and excavations, conservation methods and experiments, in-situ preservation, artefact studies, GIS methods and application, whaling wreck studies, iron and steamships, World War II wreck sites, site-specific research, historic jetty projects, submarine research, and maritime heritage management issues.
