Hecate

Hecate: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Women's Liberation is an internationally circulated, double peer-refereed journal that publishes material relating to women, particularly contributions which employ feminist, Marxist, anti-racist or other radical approaches. They also print creative work and graphics. The journal is published by Hecate Press, in association with the Research Centre for Women, Gender, Culture and Social Change, in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History at The University of Queensland. It has been in continuous publication since 1975 and edited since inception by Professor Carole Ferrier. Hecate acknowledges the support of Arts Queensland and the Literature Board of the Australia Council.
