Balayi: Culture, Law and Colonialism
Balayi is published by University of Technology Sydney Press. It is a response to a gap in academic literature thinking through, about and around the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in colonial and post-colonial contexts. The journal aims to fill this gap by providing a forum for the publication of ideas, thoughts and narratives expressed in prose, poetry and other media. The journal also hopes to place Australia’s colonial legacy in an international context by exploring points of comparison with experiences of colonialism elsewhere.
