Australian Journal of Emergency Management

The Australian Journal of Emergency Management is a refereed journal which publishes original papers (academic and practitioner) in areas of emergencies and natural disaster hazards. It is published 4 times per year.

The Australian Journal of Emergency Management (AJEM) has been a part of Emergency Management Australia, in various forms, since 1986. The journal began as the Macedon Digest in March 1986, then in Autumn 1995 the name was changed to the current title.
